GFAF 2017 announced, donation drive and Trivia, oh my!

We are proud to finally announce the dates, location and 1st wave of performers for Galaxy Far Away Fest 2017!

• A Lien Nation, Hard Money Saints, Pill Brigade, Dave Saathoff, comedy by Barry Sebastian and more!!!
• Boundary Bay Brewery is back as a sponsor, so that means more Boundary Bay Beer in the cantina!

Donation Drive for Value Village. GFAF is hosting a collection drive to donate to V.V. and in return they will support the GFAF nonprofit based on the weight of our haul!! 

• Collection dates are May 1st - June 6th
• Collection locations are the Empire Alehouse and Boundary Bay Brewery
• Items we can accept: Clothing, bedding, small appliances, books, dvds, cds, craft supplies, and more.
• Items we can NOT accept: Auto parts, beds, furniture, food, hazardous/ flammable things, other like items. 
• Stop in to either location for full details about what is accepted or to drop off items. 

Our monthly Trivia nights have been popping off!! Every 1st monday of the month we have been hosting themed trivia at the Empire Alehouse. 

• Dress in themed cosplay for extra points per team member!
• Bring donation goods for our Value Village drive to get extra points per bag!
• ​June 5th is Game of Thrones themed trivia! Visit the FB event here.
• July 3rd is Sci-Fi theme 2.0! To keep with GFAF theme for July we are bringing all new Sci-Fi questions.
• August 7th is Marvel vs. DC themed trivia! The movies, the shows, and of course the comics!
• Win prize packs, Gift Certificates for the Empire Alehouse, and tickets to 2017 Galaxy Far Away Fest!

We also will be hosting a benefit show on the Boundary Bay Brewery outdoor Beer Garden stage on June 6th!
All proceeds go to the GFAF 501(c)3 federal nonprofit.
