Galaxy Far Away Fest was created by Toby Tackett and originally hosted by Think Piece Productions. As of 2016, GFAF became its own Non Profit entity. Think Piece Productions has been filming since year one and in 2018 will be releasing 'Galaxy Far Away Fest: The first 6', which will chronicle 6 years of growing into the arts and music festival it has become today. They will be out filming again in 2017 and plan to continue to document and share GFAF with the masses.

Galaxy Far Away Fest is proud to have Boundary Bay Brewery as our exclusive partner for the 2016 GFAF Cantina. This year the GFAF Cantina will feature a few select brews from Boundary Bay, and will have some of their great merchandise for sale around the festival. Be sure to keep an eye out for a special GFAF science fiction themed brew as well!
