Harry Potter and the Deathly HALLOWS book Trivia!Join Galaxy Far Away Foundation as we host the final installment of Harry Potter Book Trivia, covering the Deathly Hallows. This trivia is all ages, located at the Skagit River Brewery in downtown Mount Vernon, and starts at 7pm January 13th. Please register your team with the GFAF staff between 6pm and 645pm and claim your table. We expect to fill up so don't rely on a time turner! PAST EVENTS BY GFAF...(Pub) Crawl on the MoonSpace and Sci-fi themed "Moon" Crawl!
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing GFAF is hosting a cosplay encouraged pub crawl including Rumors Cabaret, Rook & Rogue Board Game Pub, Herb's Cider, The Racket - Bar & Pinball Lounge, Culture Cafe at Kombucha Town and more TBA! Pub Crawl details: For $10 to the Galaxy Far Away Foundation you will get a wristband good for drink and food specials at all participating locations as well as entry to the afterparty at KT. Pub Crawl (specials) run from 4pm-9pm. Select venues are all ages. Books are Magic FestFantasy fans of all ages are invited to take a journey through their favorite fictional worlds at Burlington Public Library’s Books are Magic Festival (formerly known as Quidditch Fest). All witches, wizards, dragon slayers, shapeshifters, and hobbits can take part in a Quidditch match hosted by the Rain City Raptors. Magic and mischief abound in a wide variety of games and activities with special challenges for the bravest of heroes.
The magic begins at 11am on Saturday, July 27th at Skagit River Park (1100 S. Skagit St.) in Burlington, WA. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Trivia!
Monday July 29th HP trivia returns to the Skagit River Brewery with Book/ Movie 6: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! 7-9pm, All ages and no cover, with prizes! Dress in HP cosplay to earn bonus points for trivia! Located at SRB: 404 3rd St. Mount Vernon, WA 98273 Donations collected go directly to GFAF to help with our mission and operating costs.
